Is squatting a sure sign?

Three of my 19 week old girls have started squatting, one of them two weeks ago. If they are squatting are they definitely near laying?

My 18.5 week old just laid on Saturday...she started squatting 8 days before.

You can look forward to eggs before too much longer I would think. Most of my chickens didn't bother practising squatting, they just went right ahead and laid. The one that did squat took some time before she got round to laying! So I suppose they lay when they're good and ready!
