I ran out of Start & Grow and for some reason thought 12 weeks was the age that they should start eating layer pellets... so I just went and bought a big bag of it. When I read the bag, it says not to give it to them until 18 weeks. They are 12 weeks old today. Should I go get another bag of Start & Grow, or is this not a big deal?

Layer pellets are high in calcium, which is extremely bad for developing chicks. I'd go get more starter.
