I have a Columbian type hen that lays a green egg. I have no idea of the parentage as I hatched her from eggs that I bought on Craigslist as eating eggs. The guy who had the chickens didn't know what breeds he had as he had gotten "rainbow layers" from the hatchery and the roo was the hatchery "free gift" . The egg this hen hatched from was cream, almost white. As a chick she had a "chipmunk" pattern, but pale, like a blond version of the pattern.
Now that she is grown, she is non-bearded and has green legs and a pea comb. She has ear lobes that are a mix of white and red. She is a columbian pattern, but the "white" areas look dirty because there is a slight reddish-brown bleed-through in spots. The eggs she lays are very pale green. Almost a greyish green. Kind of ugly eggs, but she is a real sweet girl and lays 6.5 eggs per week.
