I was wondering if my barred rock is a bantam version. I though I was getting a regular BR and a silver seabright I believe they are both about 4 weeks old (just starting to get pin feathers on there heads) Anyways I am asking because the BR is smaller then the SB (I don't think this should be the case) I also have a RIR about the same age but is bigger.

How much to they weigh? Yes, there's a bantam version.

I don't know much about Sebrights, but your Sebright looks like a large fowl to me? and the color is off... Maybe someone who knows more will chime in...

I might be wrong but I don't think that is a bantam...

Bantam Rock weight should be around 36oz when full grown..

I think you got some wrong information. The one in the back is a Barred Plymouth Rock and the one in the front looks like a Columbian Rock. Could be a columbian Wyandotte but I can't see what the comb looks like?

(Both look to be largefowl size.)

Sebrights are by nature bantams; they are a breed of bantams for which there is no standard version. (Same with Rosecombs, Silkies, d'Anvers, and some I'm forgetting)

Yes, its called a Cuckoo Marans, but you dont have one . Barred Rocks just just mature slower than most chickens. Plus, Cuckoo Marans have white legs, like Dominiques. Barred Rocks have yellow legs. I also think you have a Rooster, because his legs are all yellow. A pullets legs would have black on the front.

Good Luck. Barred Rocks are the Best Breed ever.

Like rodriguezpoultry said.
"Dominiques and Barred Plymouth Rocks both have yellow legs. Dominiques have rose combs, Barred Plymouth Rocks have single."
