Is there a forum for crossbreed projects?

I have heard so many people say that chickens should not be crossbred but kept pure esp not for future thoughts of a new breed or future acceptance for showing. I know different colors and feather types etc are worked on in already accepted chicken breeds. I don't see a lot of difference in that. It is just "different" that what is already there. But...if no one does that no new breeds will ever be created. After all, most of our present breeds would not even exist if someone had not experimented with that in the past. I personally would prefer to see some new breeds that have been worked with long enough to breed true.
I, for one, am not interested in showing, but do have a chicken in mind that I want to end up with. I would like to see what others are working on by crossbreeding. A new forum??? Would there be any interest? If there already is one, please direct me to it.

BTW, please don't take offense. I understand some people's abhorrence of this idea, so please don't make this a "DON'T DO THAT" or a flaming place, after all, we have a place, too. TY!!!!
