Is there a way to distinguish age differences in chickens

I have 21 hens that are going into their 3rd year and 21 hens that are going into their 2nd year. Is there a way to distinguish which is which?
Unless you purchased all one breed for the first batch and a different breed the following year, the only way to distinguish them would be to put some leg bands on them

I think there is very little difference between 2 and 3 years of age. One year old birds, just look young... and in my opinion, 4 year old birds look old.

But two and three - they look the same.
