A little background info
In July 2022 I got 2 new chicken one topped batham hen and a mix between isa brown and araucana.
I thought I bought them from a good place but It turns out that it’s not the best place, they were SO afraid of people and pooped blood.
After they got treatment everything was fine.

but one of the topped batham chickens who was supposedly 14 weeks were already laying constantly and the other one didn’t start for like 5 more weeks after we got them home.
Also the small hen didn’t grow and the other hen grew quite a bit.
How do you know how old a bird is?

If they were laying, they would have to be over 16 weeks minimum.
Can you post some photos?

Here is the small hen

By knowing the date it was hatched.
After about 3-4 months, it's pretty hard to know for sure.
Yeah and thats the thing I don’t know when she hatched only that she was supposed to be 14 weeks old when we got her home😊
