Is there a way to sterilize soil??

Is there some type of... Microbe, insect, special type of soil mixture available? Something to promote sterilization of dirt??

I have only heard of heating the soil would you intend to use to internal temperature of 180. Oven microwave or a product that is a type of plastic and you cover the soil and allow the sun to penetrate it and heat the soil.

I recommend touching off a small thermonuclear device, at about 100 feet for an acre of soil to be vaporized. Higher for larger areas like city blocks, or local subdivisions.

Greater areas will require detonating larger devices in the megaton scale and registering as a nuclear armed state, which also may require signing the global nuclear non- proliferation treaty.
