Is There Any Way to Stop a Rooster from Crowing?

I have a 7 month old rooster that crows 24/7. I don't want to put a rooster collar on him because he absolutely hates it. Is there any other way to get him to stop?

I live out in the country surrounded by farms that also have chickens. I personally love the sound of a rooster crowing, it makes me smile every time.

Ok, I'm just worried the neighbors will complain. ( I'm sure they'll adapt to it )

Are you allowed roosters in your area?
Do you have a fence around your yard?
Or even trees?
Some of these would be sound barriers.
I can hear the roosters 1/4 of a mile away, and if the wind is right, I can hear them from farther away.

Yes, we live right next to a woods
And, yes, rooster are allowed

You might be okay.
You could always go for some walks around the area to see if you can hear him. Then you will have an idea about any possible complaints.

If rooster allowed, then do nothing. Methods that suppress crowing are methods you would not want used on you.
