They help make the GI tract healty which in turn makes it better able to obsorb nutrients. When feeding your chickens this helps cut your feed ratio, because when your chickens get all the nutrients they need they eat less. This also helps boost their immune systems.
I personally attend many swaps with young chicks and this product has really helped insure the vitality of my chicks. I also use it for all my grown birds and have noticed a major difference.
It only takes a little bit sprinkled on top of the feed. One pound should last for approximately 1/2 ton of feed. I use it every other day but you can use it daily if you would like.
