I thought this was an Ancona. But they have more black in them and this has a lot of white.

Do you know the comb type?

Legs are yellow, right?

Where was it purchased?

I was thinking exchequer leghorn, but I dont know about the leg coloring...

The under-colour was to be white, and there was to be no approach to the Ancona either in breed characteristics, or in marking, and the best way to assure this was to fix the under-colour opposite to that of the Ancona. The white under-colour takes the Exchequer Leghorn right away out of the Ancona category, as in that breed the under-colour is black.

This is what was said about exchequer leghorn, but I still dont know the leghorn leg color!!

Then I would say Ancona, because McMurray doesnt offer Exchequer Leghorns.

Anconas also have yellow legs like yours, and it LOOKS like it has a single comb.

Your birds coloring should even out as the hen gets a little older.

Good Luck!!
