Is this a Blood Ring :-(

I am new to this and hoping for some expert advice

My son found this Egg we believe it was a pigeon egg however he brought it home and put it in my old vivarium in a big to save it!
I have no idea about viable eggs and wondered if you can help me by looking at it? We candled the egg and at 1st I thought this was a blood ring, then i read you should candle from the end of the egg not the middle and 2nd pic is that it looks like a little chick i can see face and beak but it could just be trick of the eye.
Im not seeing any movement.
I know you guys are chicken experts but your the closest I found for advice

Its hard to tell. I'm not good at candling eggs, so if I had that egg I would keep it for a few more days and candle it again.
It doesn't, however, appear as though it will hatch.

Thank you, I dont think it looks hopeful my son was so excited to save the birds life bless him I even found him researching how to take care of it.
I will give it a few more days and see if it changes but i didnt see any of the veins people take about

When I was young we (my siblings and I) would save any robin or duck egg I found on the ground and try to help them. Those I found on the ground never hatched, but it was a lot of fun to try.

im more worried he will get hooked as he is talking about buying some of the neighbours free range eggs to hatch ( they have a Roster so prob firtile lol)
