My 3 year old hen has been acting slow today and her vent keeps opening and closing is she egg bound or is it only due to the heat

Where is she when you see her vent's activity?

What is her posture like?

A photo is great.

When was the last time she lays egg and acted normal?

Is she drinking fluids and eating? Is she panting and holding her wings out from her body? If you think she may be egg bound, you could offer her a human calcium tablet with vitamin d or a Tums orally. What do her poops look like? Does her crop have any food in it?
