i bought 3 of what I thought were cornish rocks from my local TSC. All the same age.
2 are definitely cornish rocks, they are large, fast growing, thick legged, but 1 is smaller. We were thinking maybe, she is a pullet. Now at 3 weeks, her comb is getting as pink as the other 2. She is much thinner, taller stature. Maybe we got a white cornish by accident? We have a white leghorn baby, and she looks sort of like it too.

Anyone want to take a guess???

Thanks, That is what I thought too. I didn't know if there would be such an extreme size difference at this age. She is no bigger than my astrolorp and barred rocks. But then again, we think they are roosters.

Ugh...I didn't want a leghorn roo. If it was a leghorn pullet, I would be ok with the mix up, but another roo. I think all my TSC got in was roos. Out of the 10 I bought, I know for sure that 5 are roo. Oh well, he is friendly. I guess the name Soupie won't be good for him. LOL!
