Is this a cough I hear before me ???

Hi folks... Not sure if you can help but have I heard my 8mth chick cough ?.

It was a weird 'backaw' type sound with a sort of 'fffft ffft' after it...she did it about three times in a row... It's not a sound I've heard her do before

She looks fine in herself..not acting any different and her eyes and nostrils are clear

She's got a bit of a dirty bum but two of the others have too and I'm doing a mite check today to see if she has them..

Any thoughts ?

I had a hen with a cough before--it was definitely a cough, no doubt. I got some oxine and put it in a humidifier, left it on overnight in the coop for about 3 nights. Oxine acts to kill mold, fungus, bacteria and is used to clean ventilation systems, so it's safe. Cough went away and that was it.

Aw thanks.. I'll nip to my farm shop tomorrow.. She has all that sort of stuff ...
She seems ok in herself and it's only an occasional cough but I'd rather get it nipped before she gets poorly
