Is this a Dominique Rooster?

Can you please help me identify this roo? I am leaning towards a Dominique. It does have a rose comb not a single comb.

He looks more like a black sexlink roo. if he was pure dominique, he would have even barring and be lighter in color. Looks like he is half dominique though.

ok it is a roo, as far as breed goes if he as dom he would have better even clearer barring. we really need some side shots and a front shot showing his comb to really help you out. i'm guessing he is eaither poor quilty or he has something else mixed in with him

I don't really think he's sex-linked either, but there's ever so slight a possibility that he is. Or he could be a hatchery quality Dom with lesser quality barring, or a cross with another barred or cuckoo breed. He's definitely not pure Dom, but he probably has Dom in him.

Thanks!! I will now be on the lookout for a true Dom rooster. I didn't get run in my last shipment of Doms. Hopefully I can find one before spring!
