We hatched 11 mixed breed chicks.. look at this one’s legs, is this normal for some breeds? It looks like two little black nails!

Are they nails or feathers? Chicks with feathered feet (like Marans, for example) can have feathers on their feet that look like that, especially the shafts of the feathers.
