I candled my eggs last night and was able to catch this on video. Can someone identify what it is I'm actually seeing? Is it a heartbeat?

Day 6

Tonight is Day 7 and I'm going to candle them again and mark which ones show obvious signs of life and which ones I can't see anything in...it'll be neat to see the outcome once D-day gets here.

my thought was day 7 but i left a range in case it was older. cause mine are 7 today also and looked about like that last night i set last friday afternoon

I set mine up in the afternoon last friday!

May I ask what you're incubating?

This is my first time, so I'm not expecting any miracles although I only saw 3-4 eggs that had no signs of life in them last night...maybe my hatch will be bigger than I expected

eggs from my dads. he has one black rooster and several brown egg layers among them a buff orphington one that is black/red colored all brown egg layers

all of mine BUT one looks like your video all had confirmed motion last night. Im hoping to have a good rate

i really dont know what they are for the first couple rounds im taking whats free.

once i perfect my temp range and achieve high success rates im going to order some of various "pretty" breads that will add flavor to my flock.

im using a home made incubator its ugly but it works
