Is this a hen or Rooster

New to here, I have 8 production red chickens and 1 has us questioning whether hen or roo, as has big comb, but that's not a sure way as some hens like leghorns have huge combs, anyway they are 8 weeks old and were sexed but only 90 percent wanted all pullets will post a pic of it they are 8 weeks old can someone tell me if it's a roo.

Really ugh thanks I contacted and sent pic to the hatchery I got from and was told no characteristics of a roo. Regardless of comb.

They always say that.
They did the same to me when I CLEARLY had a Delaware cockerel on my hands. I was told to wait until he was 12 weeks old and give them another picture.

I contacted hatchery even sent pics and was told not a roo, nocharacteristics of it, so I joined this as I'm convinced it's a rooster

That sucks it's a Roo cant have Rooster I love the coloring on him. My daughter will be sad as it's hers and she convinced it's a girl.

With a comb that big and red at 8 weeks, I'm going to say cockerel.

Tell hatchery that BYC has over 400,000 members around the globe. HE is a cockerel, once he hits a year old he will be called a ROOSTER. A younger male is called a cockerel.
