Don't know if yours will be the same, but my roo doesn't crow very much. He's the only one and it seems that the lack of competition keeps him kinda quiet. Some days he never crows at all, though sometimes he crows early in the morn.

maybe he'll turn out like my rooster. He has a deep voice. Its not a traditional high pitched crow, I tease him and say it sounds like some one is choking him.

You might get one like my little bantam - can be heard a way's off (we can't hear him well inside the house) - and on a night like tonight - FULL MOON - he'll probably let go a crow or two in the middle of the night!
