Is this keet a Lavendar. A male of this variety appeared in my grandpa's flock which is the fifth generation from some keets we got from a hatchery years ago. I though that it was unlikely that a recessive trait would have remained hidden for so long. Anyway, we incubated some eggs from my grandpa last summer and got 2 keets like this. Both were overhandled by my little cousins and became runts because they recieved all the attention and spent hours being horrified by little kids instead of growing resting and eating. Well anyway they died when some bacteria swept through the flock, before we could get antibiotics. But the father is still alive.
