Is This a Mix?

This is one of my rescue hens that I got today. She wasn't as photogenic as the roo *haha* Couldn't decide what she may be, but the roo looks like a Brahma/Cochin mix so there's no tellin.

Cant really tell from the pictures, but I dont think its a pair of dark brahmas.

To tell you the truth, I am not certain what I think they are...The male looks like he could be dark brahma, but the hens feathering doesn't look quite right. She has a close pattern, but not quite the same. Here is a link to the dark brahma page on Feathersite.

I think that is what they are. They are still very young, and very malnutrioned.

I guess we will see how they turn out in a few months!
