My chicken was fine 2 days ago, today she has been mainly sitting. She can walk but does it slower than usual. I picked her up and her touched her behind, its warm and soft but almost looks swollen. Few feathers also seemed to be missing. I really don't know anything about how to help her. I have wazine, rylan and eprinex if anyone thinks it might be worth trying one. really would appreciate some guidance.

How old is she, and do you know when she last laid? Insert a gloved, lubed finger into the vent 1-2 inches and see if you can feel an egg. Is she pooping, and what do they look like? How does her crop feel? Full, empty, hard, soft and squishy, etc.

she is about 4. No idea when she laid last. Did not see her poops today. No egg that I can feel, abdomen soft. when we picked her up clear liquid came out of her beek. She did not even attempt to make it into the coop with the rest.

For that breed, 4 years old can be old. Reproductive problems are not uncommon, particularly in birds bred to lay lots of eggs, which she falls into. That can be cancers, infection, internal laying, etc. Those will often impact digestion and can result in crops slowing down or stopping emptying. I would crate her overnight, get a look at what her droppings are looking like, check her crop first thing in the morning before access to any food or water, see what it feels like then. You can give her some coconut oil tonight and gently massage the crop being careful not to make her bring anything back up. See if it helps things to move at all. I suspect this is probably not a crop issue per-say, more likely something farther down the digestive tract, or a reproductive problem. They are really, really good at hiding symptoms until things are very advanced.

I would feel of her crop tonight and again first thing in the npmorning before she eats or drinks to see if her crop has emptied overnight. If it is full, hard, or puffy, ahe may have a crop disorder. Picking them up and accidentally pressing on the crop can cause crop contents to come back up. They also can spill water from the beak if they lower their heads.

It sounds like she may have ascites (water belly) or a reproductive problem causing her lower belly to be enlarged. Those can be common in hens her age. It would be good to find out if she has an egg stuck inside her vent, or if she is currently laying.

Thank you so much for your response. It breaks my hear to watch them suffer. I will try what you suggested, thank you again.
