Is this a quail egg?

Hi all, I'm a new quail mom and placed another order from a different vendor. Well i received it today and these brown eggs are quite larger than my first order. This order was for "Coturnix quail-rainbow Celadon PIED". I'm concerned it might be chicken eggs that the vendor sent by mistake. I did reach out to vendor but haven't heard back.
Hoping all my quail veterans can lend me an eye and confirm: is this a quail or chicken egg? Thanks!

I don't quails but I do keep chickens and those look pretty similar to chicken eggs.

It certainly looks like a chicken egg to me. It might even be a duck egg. I found this image on Reddit that compares from top to bottom

Further info: even a double-yolk egg from a jumbo coturnix would top out at around 20g. That is. Definitely not a 20g egg.

And since you ordered celadon eggs, they should be visibly blue!

So yeah. 0% chance that would hatch a celadon coturnix.

Turkey eggs sure are small for how big a turkey is.

I had the same thought when I saw the comparison. I'm surprised that goose eggs are the biggest of that group.

The egg size combined with the fact that turkeys rarely lay is why you never see turkey eggs for sale.

I'm going to say chicken egg. Definitely isn't quail.
