Some of you may remember my thread asking if one of my bantams - Cinderella - is a roo - well, he is (and is now Prince Charming). This is my other bantam, Snow White (s/he was all white when I named her . . . ) I'm not sure if she is just trying to imitate Prince Charming (very bad imitations I might add) or if she really is a he. Can anyone tell by this picture?

When you look at her from the front, she looks very muscular and there is a defined . . . cleavage if you will . . . . she almost looks like a cornish game hen. Her face has a lot of red but I don't see any waddles starting. She is 12 weeks old. Any ideas??

Ugh. How do you give away a chicken that you have had since it was one week old?? I saw this and my other roo chest bumping yesterday. My ratio is very unbalanced - 2 roos to 3 hens.

It's very hard to give them away. I had to give mine away and I had him since 1 day old. I felt good about it though cause he was going to a very good home with a lot of free range chickens and he is doing well he is 9 months old now....I saw him a while ago and he looks great.

Oh. Well, I live in farm country so I probably won't have too much trouble. Did you replace him with a pullet? I would like to do that, but am worried that it may bring disease to my girls.
