Is this a rooster?

It’s 7 to 8 weeks old it looks like the rest of them with color and tail but it’s larger than the rest and more red and pink in comb and it’s chirp deepened . Is it a hen and just developing quicker or do I need to be worried it might be a rooster?

Color says pullet, but early comb development screams cockerel. Time will tell the tale.

You certain it is all barred rock might explain the darker colour but really I have 4 pullets not ready to lay just yet and their combs are red already also..

it is barred so are mine about 4 years ago I raised another 6 of them but really do not recall I know the yellow legs

These pictures are about a week old but they all look about the same here and they were all from the same store which said they were barred rock pullets
