Hi,
We are relatively new to chooks. We have 5 bantam mixes (which we were sold as pullets, though none have laid for us yet - they are now approx 18 weeks old). 2 months ago we also found a chicken on the side of the road (front one pictured). We thought it was a bit odd and decided to bring it home. We have no idea what type of chook it is. It's a bit bigger than our bantams now as you can see. And I'm starting to suspect that it's a rooster. It's very bossy with the other chooks and often fights with the one behind it.
