Is this a safe position for my chick to sleep in?

We haven’t gotten this chick any friends yet as of writing this, that will be happening tomorrow, so I decided to put a tiny teddy bear in the box with them to keep them company. He keeps falling asleep on top of the bear with his neck outstretched downward. He acts completely fine when he wakes up, but it worries me that he’s got his head in such a position. Is this safe or should I remove the bear to make him sleep on the floor of the box like he had been the previous night?

They sleep like that all the time.
How much space in in the brooder? Can you take a picture from much further back showing the whole setup?

This is what I was able to get together on short notice, since the chick was unexpectedly rejected by the mom. My dad and I will actually be heading out to a store in a couple hours to get some friends for the chick, better supplies, actual fresh bedding, and hopefully a bigger enclosure with a top to stop them from trying to jump out. I moved things around after this picture, setting the towel down flatter and moving the food and drink to the edges to give them more room to run. As well as putting the bear in of course.

It may seem like a lot of work but if you can get the largest box possible, cut large holes in the sides for "windows" then tape screen over them and use binder clips to clip another piece of screen over the top, that will keep them in and give the brooder much needed ventilation and it's worth the effort. Also, you can place the whole works up on a table so when you approach the chicks are closer to eye level vs you always coming in above them like a predator does and scaring them.
