Is this a safe spot for poults and a turkey hen?

My turkey hen started to go broody on her 12 eggs yesterday, and I was wondering if I should make her a safer enclosure or a nest box? We want her to hatch her own eggs but we were concerned that they would get out or get eaten. Is this a good spot for her? Thanks! Btw we do have a few mice in the barn.

Fence the area in with an opening that she can get through but one that the tom can't get through.

But yes, I will wire it so it is more safe for them.
