I've never had a silkie befor so when I saw two little feather footed five toed fluff balls at tsc I snatched them up but one had a different look to it. It's kinda more stringy looking? What's that about?

If the wing feathers (for lack of another word) is stringy looking, if they have black dark blue skin, legs and beak and look like they have a crest or top know on there heads (hatchery birds sometimes don't) then you have silkies! I just adore silkies!
What do you mean by yours look different from each other?
Do there feather?
Bodies?
Size?
Look different or just coloring?

Ok now that I'm looking at the other silkie she's starting to get the stringy wing feathers as well befor they looked smoother and she had more fluff left like baby fluff but now she's catching up and they are more similar looking:)

Yay!!! Silkies
Now sizzles have smoother feathers so she might be a sizzle (Frizzled silkie) so keep looking to see if her wing feather start to curl.... But more then likely she was Just a day or so younger so she just catching up, or that one could be a boy. Boys tend to feather out slower.

Best of luck with you babies!!!
