Is this a spur on my Silkie? She is supposed to be a she!

I tried to get a good pic - my Silkies are about 7 weeks old. - How can you tell a Roo with all those feathers.
I asked the Hatchery to sex them and paid for that - I know its not a perfect science. however, my
daughter is devasted b/c we are not to have Roos in our neigborhood. UhOh.

I don't see any spurs remember silkies have 5 toes on each foot..

That's just the 5th toe. At 7 weeks even the boys don't have spurs yet. Unfortunately there's no good way to tell on Silkies until they get older.

Too young to have spurs if male.. Need to pm me with close up of full face and pics of full body- Standing up. I will let you know if male or female.
