Is this a wellsummer or a cream legbar (which is what I was told)?

When I went to look at this chicken, I was told she was a Cream Legbar. I think she is actually a Wellsummer. I suppose it is possible that she is a different breed entirely. Her personality is good. She already gets on well with her new flock and has already established herself at the top of the pecking order. She is smart for a chicken and a good free ranger. She is not flighty and willing to be hand fed.

Can anyone help me identify definitively what breed this is? I hope this is enough to go on. :) Thank you.

hard to see in the pictures, but her legs are very yellow.

Could be a legbar. Egg color would be the best way to tell!

Thanks! I was told brown eggs, but haven't seen any yet myself, probably due to the trauma of moving. If I had to describe her temperament in one word, I would say, easy, if that helps with identifying.

Not a cream legbar if she lays brown eggs, cream legbars are layers of sky blue eggs.

She's still very pretty, I would say welsummer if she lays brown eggs. Welsummer usually lay very dark brown eggs.

Thanks all! I had a pretty good idea when I bought her that she was NOT a legbar, but she was so cute, and I wanted to make sure the other chicken I purchased had a buddy, so I bought her anyway. Turns out, she is a darn nice, well rounded, chicken to boot!
