is this an oprington of some kind?

One of my beauties has turned out to be a roo.I was told he was an oprington but I have little experience with them anyone know specifics?

Looks like a gold laced Orpington. Probably hatchery stock.

I can't see the comb well but it looks maybe a rose comb? Anyway, the color looks mixed, as do those dark legs. I think its a barnyard mix cockerel.

I think that he is a mixed breed cockerel, definitely not an Orpington. He might have some Golden-laced Wyandotte in him.

It's funny that everyone agree about the mix. He came from a farm that raises opringtons as their specialty. I felt this guy was different from the start but having no real expertise I couldn't say. I will get some close ups of his comb. I think it's a single but I can't remember now.
