Is this Bumblefoot healing on its own?

I have a chicken with double Bumblefoot, we have been treating it and the scab seems to be being replaced with a new scab. Is this healing on its own, pictures are attached

I’ll keep doing what I’m doing, but should I work the scab off and look for a kernel?
Here is what I do and it worked well for me besides 2 stubborn bumbles.

-First soak the chicken in epsom water to cover their feet (not necessary to go higher.) For 15-20 minutes
-Clean the bumble with Vetericyn tab dry with gauze.
-Apply a good chunk of prid drawing salve
-Fold a gauze pad and wrap it on the bumble foot.

Repeat consistently for 7 days, then see if you can remove the kernal. When its almost about to fall off you know its ready.

So no, don't try to remove the scab yet.
