I have a 7.5 week old Easter egger, who started acting lethargic out of no where today and she has an eye that she won’t open. Trying to figure out if I should give her corrid or tylosin. There’s no discharge from eye or nasal area, and I have got her to eat some egg but not drink anything really. She just wants to sleep.

Do you have a picture of the chick and the eye? I would get the chick drinking fluids. It looks possibly dehydrated. You can treat with Tylosin if it seems like a respiratory disease. If the eye is swollen, it might not be seeing food and water, and need help finding it. Do you already have Corid and Tylosin? You could give 0.1 ml of undiluted Corid orally a couple of times a day. It would be hard to know if this is coccidiosis or a respiratory disease from reading this. But MG can cause a swollen eyelid or face. Do you see bubbles in the eye? Dip her beak in water as often as possible.

I have both on hand, here is a couple photos of her face, she’s opened the swollen eye a couple times briefly if she hears something but that’s all. I don’t see any bubbles.
