I have two eggs one of which looks great while the other doesn’t look so good. This egg stopped a little while ago too but I want to make sure. It hasn’t grown at all and lost all its veins so yea. Also, the air sack membrane has been darker for some reason so can somebody tell me why? I I mostly just want to know if it’s still alive cus I’m really worried because these ducks are for a friend. Can someone help?

Also, can someone tell me what the shadow at the bottom of the second egg is? Thanks.

Is it a chicken egg?
Are you positive of the time?
Any movement inside upon candling?
It isn't uncommon for embryos to fail post day 18.

It’s a duck egg and there’s only movement when I move it but I can’t rlly tell cus maybe it’s breathing? Idk but I’m sure it hasn’t internally pipped yet but I think it might be a call duck egg

I remember when I first started incubating. I think everyone goes through that excitement. I was using a cheap Little Giant incubator; I affectionately call the embryo executioner. Anyway, I knew how important it was to leave it alone other than turning eggs (no auto turner). It would have been better to keep it somewhere in the house with stable temperature. But to put it out of my mind, I decided to put it in the basement. That way, I'd have to schedule time to turn eggs rather than find ways to avoid tampering temptations.

too bad I dont have an incubator lol but i do have school for most of the day so it gets some peace

I am SO frustrated I just had an egg-my last one, die shortly after pipping and now I have no idea what to do.
