I hatched this lil guy last night - three days premature, but he required no assistance and is a fireball of energy. The woman I purchased his egg from said he could either be Cayuga, Blue Swedish, Silver Swedish or Fawn-and-White. Definitely can rule out Runner, but could he be a Cayuga mix? Or does the distinct yellow patch mean he'll likely be a Blue / Silver Swedish? What are your thoughts?
I have three almost three-week old Cayugas in a separate pen right now. I'll keep them separated, but close, for awhile. He's a lil too runty to play with his robust older brothers yet.
