Is this Elvis a Silkie?

Can anyone tell my what my roo Elvis is? I thought he was a Silkie (that's what the label said when I bought him at Tractor Supply) but he's not looking like other Silkies I see in pictures. He's about 3 months old now.

Thank you! He is beautiful!... my family all laughed and called him ugly when he was a bot younger 'cause he was scawny looking but he's turning into a beautiful bird!

Elvis is a Buff Laced Polish cockerel.

Silkies lack barbicels, the little hooks that hold feathers together. That's what makes a Silkie's feathers look like fur. Polish chickens, like what you've got there, have barbicels, meaning they are smooth feathered.
