Since day one this chick has acted like a hawk. (s)he even sounds like a hawk. (8 weeks old) We are almost positive he is a rooster. Please help!

Thank you soooo much! We were just looking at your site! My mom is in love with the Buff Ameraucana and I like the white Amerauacana (which we have I think)... We got our chicks from Murray McMurray and my mom wants to know if they might all be Easter-eggers..is it possible we have any "true" Ameraucanas? We have brown/red, all white, and what looks a lot like your buff Ameraucana in your icon. Thanx.

If they are from Mcmurray they are all easter eggers, sorry.

If you have a pure white one and the legs are slate (blue), and when she lays, she has a nice blue or blue/green egg, you can try to keep her and breed with a true white ameraucana.

Thanx.. here is what she looks like. And our brown-red and buff. (supposedly) We are going to keep them all. They are pets. And show chickens.

Thank you!

They are all ee's.

I hope what you mean by "show" is that you are going to "show them off".

Please do not show them at a poultry show, they will get disqualified and you would be very disappointed.

Since your white birds has yellow legs, it means that her skin is yellow. Ameraucanas have white skin. Her beak is also yellow.
