My EE started laying Saturday the 6th just shy of 18 weeks old, she laid a really good size egg. Laid again on Monday afternoon a smaller egg and then again Thursday morning a much smaller egg. She has not laid since, it's now been over a week.
I know that it can take awhile for them to become regular and that it's normal for them to go quite a few days but is over a week normal?
She has been singing the egg song on and off for a week but no egg. They haven't had free range of the yard much since because we have been busy and I don't like to be without "supervision" we live in the city and our dog is not 100% trustworthy and our kids are in and out of the yard so I can't always be sure the dog is not chasing the chickens, anyhow
Normal? Or should I be concerned?
