Is this insecticide & residual stuff safe for my chickens?

My husband came home with these chemicals to treat the yard for fleas & ticks. I haven't seen any on our chicks (7 weeks old), but we haven't been able to get them off of our mainly inside dog. We have tried EVERYTHING on him- even the pills you get from the vet. The label says we can spray "poultry houses & runs" as long as we remove the chickens from the area- as well as their food & water. It says they can return when the spray is dry.
Has anyone used these chemicals before? Is it REALLY safe for our chicks? Is it effective for yard pests? I trust y'all more than I do whoever typed up the label!

Never heard of either product, not a good sign. There's a (very short)t of approved products for poultry at FARAD.org, and you could call your state poultry expert, at your state vet school, or maybe ag extension. Spraying the yard with insecticide will kill EVERY bug, including the beneficials, and really isn't the best idea. Mary
