Is this large enough??

O.k. so I am going to convert a side shed off of our garage into a chicken coop. It's plenty big for the 7 rhode island red hens that we have. I live in Minnesota so our winters can be brutal. I want to put siding on this rabbit hutch for them to sleep in. My question is will it be big enough for all to snuggle in together? They are only 3 weeks old right now.

Chickens prefer to sleep on an elevated roost. Wire floors can cause foot injuries, and they will get poop on their bottom sides and quite possibly their eggs. That could easily be converted to an extra space for an injured chicken, one who is bullying, a broody setting on eggs, etc.
