Thank you so much! I have looked at that site before, and it's extremely helpful, but I'm still having trouble deciding for sure. I don't think he's dark enough to be blue (and I previously had another Ancona who I did think was blue who was darker than he is), and I think not light enough to be lilac, but I don't know if his plumage has faded with age. He's three years old.

Not sure if this helps, but - Here's my Lavender drake(per his breeder) and he's a bit darker than yours - so I'm thinking yours are Lilac.

I have 2 Ancona ducklings not quite 3 weeks old. I'm pretty sure the darker one is a blue, but I need some help with the lighter one. It definitely has brown undertones, so either lilac or lavender. I get confused when googling because I've read lavender is lighter, and I've also read lilac is lighter. Anybody know which color I have? Thanks!
