I will try to take a picture (crappy camera) of the BC runt that I haven't had the heart to cull (turns out to be the dh's favorite) and post- I want to know if he's a he or a she. In the mean time can I see your pictures of 6-12 week old BC's? Thanks:)

Hi Matt-

Thanks! I'm pretty sure this little runt is a roo. . .too bad, he's my dh favorite chick and I live in a neighborhood. I can't have roos.

Here is a (bad-told you my camera was pooh) shot of the runt.

These two are both 8.5 weeks old.

I can see how he'd be so endearing to your DH, he may be cuddling up for warmth! I have a pair of white Cochins, and Noah feathered in MUCH slower than Camille. They are about the same age as yours, and you can see a big difference in their faces. Atlthough I must say that if they were both the same gender, I'd still be guessing!

Camille is a bit hard to see, but she does look different doesn't she. Darn-now what am I to do?

I also have a black langshan that is v e r y slow to mature as well. I'm thinking Charlotte may be Chuck!

Thanks again Matt-

Nice site you have. Pity you aren't closer, I'm going to need a replacement or two.
