I have this good looking cockrel

i am not sure what he is? I love his wide tail and beefy shoulders. Just hoping someone can help me figure him out?

Beautiful rooster! Where did you get him from? He may be a mix. It might be a golden laced Wyandotte.

He's very beautiful. He looks similar to pictures of gold wyandotte roosters on the internet but I haven't owned wyandottes so I can't be sure.

Here’s an image of a golden laced Wyandotte rooster from the internet. There are some similarities and differences, your one has less lacing making me think it could be a cross.

I’m certain he’s a cross. If he was black he wouldn’t have the other colours. If he was gold laced he’d have lacing. Also, his legs look quite pale for a Wyandotte.

Edit: Then again, he could be a mixed colour bird. Interested to see what others say!

Agreed. That’s what I was saying, he doesn’t have lacing. I’m assuming GLW X something else...

He was hatched in may. My confusion is that I received a big order from a hatchery at the same time I was hatching some of my own out. St the time I didnt have a wyandotte rooster, I think there was a columbian wyandotte hen(cant remember when I got her but gave her away in aug) the comb looks nice not like a cross comb and I cant think of any of my straight comb roosters that would have thrown the coloring? Oh well he stays just based on comb and body (I love how fast he grew and filled out as well as the comb)
