Is this molting?

Hello! Both of my Americaunas have started molting, I believe. But I don’t remember ever seeing a hen molt so intense around their face. So I want to make sure this looks like typical molting. I switched them over to grower feed and have given them extra treats to try to help them through since…especially since it’s so cold!

Yep, she's molting, a very hard molt. Had a few birds molt so hard this year, it looked like they exploded.

If you can I would boost up her protein with tuna, mealworms, eggs etc as it takes so much out of them to grow those feathers. I hope her new feathers come in quick@
