Is this new feed ok for my ducklings?

i had asked my sister to get me some duckling feed on her way home and she brought home some game bird feed. She said that the people at whatever store she stopped at had said that it was the same thing but it seems to have significantly more protein than the original bag of feed did. Is this ok? I’m new to owning ducks and I would hate to lose my flock already because of too much protein or missing nutrients

That's very high in protein. In two weeks switch to a 16% protein. Angel wing and joint issues can happen.

Oh, and since it's formulated for turkeys, you don't need to worry about adding any niacin because turkey feed has more than enough for them. It will also have many of the other essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that ducklings need. I feed this to mine until they are feathered out.

If you want to feed something lower in protein you can feed Purina Flock Raiser, Purina Duck Pellets, or once they are 7 weeks old you can feed them
Nutrena Country Feeds All Flock Feed or Nutrena or NatureWise All Flock Feed

They are about 2 weeks right now, will that effect them still or should I get a different bag of feed?

@casportpony gave great info on choices of what you can feed. Many on here use Purina Flock Raiser and haven’t any problem at all with it at 20% protein.

I'd feed them differently. 16% Grower finisher is what I'd get..

I feed mine 22% until they around 8 weeks, then I switch to All flock 18%.
