My chicks are 9 weeks old. We've got 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Welsummers and 2 Delawares (1 hen, 1 rooster)
Little Red is a Rhode Island red and our smallest. Her head feathers, particularly around her eyes seem really sparse and the skin looks kind of raw. It's seem more so than all the rest of them, but it's really hard to tell if it's just a question of them growing adult features or if she's got some kind of condition the others don't or haven't developed yet.
Does this look like normal development? (Sorry, I couldn't find an edit button to rotate the photo into proper position)
