Is this normal for chickens

does anyone known the cause of this. Is there anything I can do.
 
I agree with the previous response, looks too wound-like to be normal molting.
Do you have an aggressive rooster in your flock?
 
I would definitely go over them an check for lice/mites. Sometimes in the absence of a rooster a dominant hen will mount the other hens, just like a rooster would. Feather picking is commonly caused by overcrowding, boredom, not enough protein in the diet. Just some things to consider. Spend some time observing behavior to see if you can pin point the problem.
