Is this normal????

Is it normal for my Two-year-old chicken to stop laying??
Depends on the breed. Some chickens bred for production can stop laying after a few years. Are they moulting? Is it hot where you are? Sometimes that may affect laying. Are you feeding layer pellets at least 16%? Protien can have a factor in production also. Can you give us a little more info on your hens as in breed, feed, temps or weather where you are? That may aid others reading this post on figuring the best way to advise you.

She is a black star, she is housed with 2 other black stars. Normally it is 90 degrees around here. She stopped laying maybe little less than a month ago. She had what we thought was a prolapse but never turned out to be one. I know that she doesn’t lay cause she never approaches the nest when I go to collect eggs. They all get 16% layer pellets and are not free range but I let them out every other day to dig and be free lolol

What looks like a prolapse but isn't one?

None of my birds approach the nests when I gather eggs,
is that something she did when she was laying?

Is she now about 28 months old?
Sexlinks can really slow down and/or stop around 2-3 years.
